This motorcycle model is based on an illustration by Robert Sammelin, thanks for the inspiration Robert! His dynamic characters are awesome, but I needed a hard-surface challenge so I chose to do the bike here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/AgJkV.
The goal was a current-gen in-game hero object so I set the polycount target at 60k. Looking back the biggest hurdle was managing the sheer amount of tiny bits and pieces. Happy with the project overall, tons of learning and a pretty cool end result, although I also see a ton of room for improvement. Onwards & upwards!
