Image Optimization

Updated the site with some awesome mushy mushy image compression and image format changes, which should result in a big improvement in page load times.

Of course in a true DIY spirit I did it by building a custom imagemin pipeline and imageset shortcode. I guess I took the difficult road, but at least now I have a good understanding of the pipeline and can tune it even further to my needs. And it’s fun to roll your own, right!?
